Earlier this week, news reached us that Luke Swann sadly passed away. Luke was our Boys Pathway Lead for 18 months and ran our EPP during that time.

Luke was a brilliant man, with an infectious smile that he would always greet you with. He had such a great passion for cricket, and he loved passing on his knowledge to our young players - who would always be keen to listen and take on board whatever advice he could give.

Luke played cricket locally for several clubs, and in more recent times would regularly visit to watch across the grounds at weekends, where he was always welcomed.

Luke will be greatly missed by all who knew him, and the cricketing community has lost not only a great coach but above all, a lovely man.

Our thoughts are with Luke’s family and friends.
