Cricket Week at Burghley Park Cricket Club

Burghley Park Cricket Club are proud to announce that Cricket Week will be back from 2–6 July 2018, with BGL putting their name to the event. The Cricket Week event will take place at the picturesque Burghley Park Cricket Club in Stamford, with FREE entry for all spectators. The established event runs throughout the week and offers fun for all of the family.
Matches start from 10:30am each day, against opposition such as an ECB Staff XI, Authors XI, Gentlemen of Lincolnshire, Gentlemen of West Norfolk and the MCC. From 6pm each evening, 16 local clubs will compete for the coveted sixes trophy and everyone is invited to join to watch. There will be a fully stocked bar, from Adnams and Bateman’s, and a BBQ provided by Beetroot Catering. Following the MCC fixture on Friday, the sixes finals begin with the remaining clubs keen to walk away with the trophy.
After the winners have been crowned there will be a live band on hand to close proceedings.

BGL Cricket Week at Burghley Park is all about bringing our community together. It’s once again set to be a jam packed week with lots of fun to be had for all, particularly on the Friday evening so please come along and get involved throughout the week.”
