Club engagement evenings
We have recently started work to produce a 10-year facilities strategy, part of this strategy will help us make informed decisions on where to allocate any funds to clubs based on their current facility needs, demands and aspirations.
The ECB’s strategy ‘Inspiring Generations’ challenges the game to create environments where the next generation see our sport as “a game for me”. Clubs and their facilities play a vital role in working towards this.
We are holding 3 face-to-face club engagement meetings throughout October. The purpose of these meetings is to give clubs and their members the opportunity to discuss this topic, for us to share our county wide priorities in greater detail and to ask questions of the Cricket East team. The evening will begin with a presentation from a member of the Cricket East team followed by structured sessions and an open Q&A.
The venues, dates and times are below (only one need be attended)
Thursday 6th October, 7-8:30pm – Eaton Socon Cricket Club, PE19 8HL
Tuesday 11th October, 7-8:30pm – Orton Park Cricket Club, PE2 7DW
Wednesday 19th October, 7-8:30pm – Dunstable Town Cricket Club, LU6 1QP
