Pre Season 6 Week Hubs for children aged 8-12
Cricket East are running a 6 week pre season cricket training hub for 8-12 year olds in both Bedfordshire and Huntingdonshire to provide some further training for players that were involved in pre Christmas hotshot hubs who did not progress into the county programmes, as well as opening up new opportunities for any children in clubs and schools across the two counties that did not book on to our pre Christmas hubs. The aims of the sessions are to progress and develop cricket skills as well as enthuse a love for the game through providing fun, engaging activities. This 6 weeks will focus on supporting players to become match ready leading into the summer months with both hard and soft ball training through skills, drills and games scenarios.
We have one course in Bedfordshire taking place at Robert Bloomfield Academy in two separate age groups for Under 10’s followed by a session for Under 12’s
In Huntingdonshire the course is taking place at Sawtry Leisure Centre, again in two separate age groups for Under 10’s followed by a session for Under 12’s
Dates and timings can be found for each hub via the payment link below or in the document below. Cost for the 6 week programme is £85

The sessions will also give us an opportunity to keep an eye on players that are not in county squads in 2020 to support their development as players. Further additional activities including festival days may be arranged during the summer months.
