East Beds Charity Shield Golf Day
The East Beds Charity Cricket Shield has been running for over 60 years and raises funds for local charities via evening cricket matches and each year they also hold a Golf Day.
This year was their fifth Golf Day and it took place on Friday 12 April at Bedford Golf Club with 14 teams competing for the Pater Maudlin Shield.
Congratulations to the winning team from Biggleswade Cricket Club - Harmit Bahra, Neil Wildon, Kevin Gentle and Captain Matt Twigg.
Peter’s widow Josie was also on hand to present the individual winning prize to Flitwick’s Josh Malkani.
Thanks to all those who helped raise over £2k for local charities.
