ECB unveil logo for The Hundred
Cricket’s new action-packed competition, The Hundred, launches in summer 2020 and, as the excitement builds, Stoke Newington CC helped to unveil the logo.
The ECB also announced this week that cricket will become the first major British sport to run a men’s player draft live on TV to create the eight men’s teams that will compete in The Hundred.
The draft will take place on 20th October. Sky Sports will be showing the event live from 7pm with extensive coverage across the BBC. Supporters will also have access to in-depth build up and previews in the days before, as well as post-draft reaction.
The Hundred will feature men and women’s competitions from launch, a first for world cricket. Further details on the women’s competition will be announced in due course.
