A new team entering Tier 3 in 2025....
Exciting News - A combined team representing Bedfordshire & Huntingdonshire has been entered into Tier 3 (Division 2 - South) of the new ECB Women’s County Cricket structure for 2025!
To allow us to build a strong and competitive squad for summer 2025, we are inviting players to attend open observations sessions, taking place early in 2025 (details below). We are looking for girls and women capable of playing competitive hardball Women’s cricket to a good standard.
The sessions will be held on the following dates, between 13:00 and 16:00 with exact timings to be confirmed once we have a greater understanding of number of players interested in attending.
• Saturday 11th January 13:00-16:00
• Saturday 18th January 13:00-16:00
• Saturday 25th January 13:00-16:00
Our venue for these sessions is our new cricket centre, at Wixams Academy in Bedfordshire, with cricket specific facilities following recent investment from the ECB.
Address is Wixams Academy, Wixams, Bedfordshire, MK42 6BA.
We are hugely excited about the opportunity this presents for Women across both counties to represent Bedfordshire & Huntingdonshire Women’s Cricket with pride! We aim to build a supportive team environment, through a welcoming and inclusive culture.
Thanks to funding from the England & Wales Cricket Board, all training, matches, clothing, travel etc will be free of charge.
