Cricket East are seeking a Girls Pathway Coordinator to work across our Bedfordshire and Huntingdonshire Girls County Age Groups.

The successful candidate will become the Pathway Coordinator across Bedfordshire and Huntingdonshire Girls Performance Programmes from Under 11-Under 17 working alongside Cricket East Performance Lead to establish a strong philosophy for the girls performance pathway. This involves taking the lead as a Coach through the Winter and Summer Training programmes to plan, coach, and support across all age groups mainly with the Under 15 and 17 squads but monitoring and supporting wherever possible with Under 11 and 13 coaches. Lead Coach of the Under 15 and 17 squads responsible for selection and development of the sides throughout the summer months, working closely with a Team Manager. There is also a small amount of administration involve to communicate with key stakeholders.

A key part of the role will be working closely with the Sunrisers regional team to establish clear pathways for our Junior Girls to progress from County Age Groups into the newly formed Regional set up.

Cricket East are searching for someone with;

• A proven track record of working in a performance cricket coaching environment
• An understanding and passion for talent development
• An understanding of girls cricket and existing ECB Regional structures/pathways
• A sound level of cricketing knowledge with regards to the Bedfordshire and Huntingdonshire area including local clubs and leagues
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong ability to build rapport quickly, and to influence others with excellent relationship building skills, collaboration and partnering skills
• Accredited or working towards a Level 3 Coach qualification its equivalent with up to date First Aid, Safeguarding and ECB DBS
• A full, clean driving license
• Experience of developing players & coaches
• Commitment to equality and diversity
