Hampton’s Jawad Ali was involved in 3 of the wickets taking an excellent catch and getting 2 direct hit run outs.
In reply, one of the most dramatic indoor collapses ever, with Hampton slumping to 9-5 from 2 overs, with seamer Mark Durham taking 4 wickets in one over, before Hampton scored 19, one of the lowest ever indoor totals.

Another match where the ball dominated the bat. Kings Keys A’s 112-4 from 10 overs was even more remarkable as there were 2 maidens in the early overs of the innings. A quickfire unbeaten 23 from Dan Ashraf helped Keys post 112-4. In reply despite excellent knocks from Junaid Hussain (41) and Mohammed Toseeq (32), Dan Ashraf’s 2-17 was crucial and he also took the final catch to complete Kings Keys A’s 2nd win of the indoor season.

CAMRA 118-5 from 10 overs. Sam Tyler 40 (3x4), Chris White 35 not out (2x4 and 1x6) Neil Wright 18.

Waheed Javeed was involved in 3 of the dismissals taking a brilliant catch and getting 2 direct hit run outs.
In reply Ufford were soon in trouble at 23-2, but Captain Jan Neville led the way with an unbeaten 36 and received support from Joe Harrington and Andy Larkin to see Ufford home. Nick Bradbury ended up with 2-8.
Match 4 – Kings Keys B beat Bretton by 2 wickets

Bretton’s 114 was built around another excellent knock from Ryan Evans, who has so far had an excellent season. The experienced Dave Bennett also contributed 29. In reply Kings Keys B collapsed from 77-0 to 90-4, before Ali Haider with an unbeaten 42 saw them home. Earlier prolific opener Saad Ashraf made 28. Andy Bennett took 2-18.
County Play Offs
As there was no indoor competition last season and the ECB wanted to know by mid January who was representing Huntindonshire, the organisers decided that whoever was top by mid January 2019 would be the Huntingdonshire representative at the County Play Offs in mid February.
Cambs Whiting and Rutland league team Ufford Park will now be representing Huntingdonshire and travelling to Oxfordshire to play Oxfordshire in the Indoor County Play Off on Sunday 17 February. If Ufford win that match then they will travel to Edgbaston Birmingham on Sunday 3 March to play the winners of Staffordshire v Worcestershire in Regional Finals Day.
If successful in that match, Ufford representing Huntingdonshire will end up at National Indoor Play Off Day at Lords Indoor School on 31 March.
A lot of hard work between now and then but we wish them all the best at Oxfordshire in 5 weeks time.
