Cricket East is supporting partner to Community Interest Luton (CIL) and attended the LETS Apprentice Fair on 27 March at Venue Central, Luton.
This offered young people attending cricket ‘products’ in the town the opportunity for signposting and job skills support and is the next stage of supporting young people’s wider development through cricket in Luton.
The Fair links into the sustainability of the Lord’s Taverners Wicketz project in Luton with its traditional 8-15 age group. We are also at the forefront of developing an older age group for Wicketz nationally due to the success of the Luton project. It is also a key part of the wider Luton Core City project integrated activity.
