Luton Ladies
Luton has its first ever ladies cricket team!
And they started their outdoor training on Friday 3 May 6.30-8pm at Luton Town and Indians Cricket Club!
The team is affiliated to Luton Town & Indians CC and formed as a result of a Women’s Soft Ball Cricket Festival which took place last summer. The team now has 14 regular players each week!
Cricket East’s Chantal Hardy said: “We won’t be joining a League just yet as we haven’t had any hard ball practice, but hopefully now we are starting our outdoor training, we will get lots of experience and our aim is to join the Four Counties Women’s Cricket League in 2020.”
