Lutonian Wicketz Hub at Challney High School for Girls was visited this week by South Asian News Channels GEO Sky Channel 723 and A1 and AAJ Sky Channel 779.

Luton Wicketz Development Officer Amran Malik was overseeing a very busy evening of activity and celebrating its volunteers including recently qualified Level 2 Coach Samina Mehrab and ex-Wicketz participant and now helper Uzayr Shafiq, both talking about their journeys.

Samina Mehrab becomes Wicketz Luton’s first South Asian ECB Level 2 cricket coach – a feat that has not previously been accomplished in the County or town’s history.
