.
It is with great sadness that we must inform you that Max Hill - Safeguarding Officer for Bedfordshire has passed away. Max had been unwell in recent times, and sadly passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on Friday 1st April, after a valiantly fought battle against cancer.
Max has given a huge amount to the game locally - specifically around his role as County Safeguarding Officer (formally known as County Welfare Officer). Max was also heavily involved and Club President at Blunham CC as well as representing the Bedfordshire over 50 and 60 sides on the field too.
Max will be greatly missed, and we are so grateful for the countless hours dedicated to Safeguarding cricket across Bedfordshire.
Thank you Max
