Northamptonshire announce partnership with Cricket East
Northamptonshire expand pathway opportunities for National Counties....
On Monday, Northamptonshire Steelbacks announced a partnership with Cricket East and Buckinghamshire around pathway opportunities.
The partnership will mean Northamptonshire Steelbacks will be working closely with Cricket East Performance staff and players to deliver not only CPD events using first-class staff and facilities, but also provide more playing opportunities and high-performance specialist coaching to Bedfordshire and Huntingdonshire Young Cricketers within our County Age Group programme.
Through the partnership, the Steelbacks will be able to support us to identify talented players and provide opportunities for further development at Northamptonshire’s Junior Centre of Excellence and Emerging Players Programme.
The partnership doesn’t exclusively link to Performance Cricket though, there are a number of ways we are working closely with Northamptonshire as a First Class County on our doorstep. Recent examples include our NatWest OSCA’s celebration event and All Stars Guard of Honour experience for junior cricketers from around Bedfordshire and Huntingdonshire.
We look forward to growing this partnership with Northamptonshire moving forward in an exciting time for cricket!
