David Gray died peacefully at home on 30 January aged 65 years.

Digger first played for Bedford Argus, aged 16, in 1970 and went on to play for them for over 40 years (including post the merger with Cople). He opened the batting, with his highest score 176 in a 45 over game and kept wicked for many years. He also bowled a bit in later years, once he had ceased keeping wicket. He also represented Bedfordshire Over 50s numerous times.

Funeral service will be on Thursday 21 February at Norse Road Crematorium at 3.15pm.
