It was reported that there has been positive progress to raise the League’s profile over last 12 months, which has included:
- Affiliation process underway for the first time
- Four new teams joining the League, including one with desires to be part of a ground sharing plan in the City and hopefully starting a youth section
- Support given to this Club with funding for a Level 2 coaching course place
- New members of the Committee joining from the new teams
- Recognition of long-standing Committee Member at OSCAs
- Developing use of Play-cricket
- League pitch playing requirements part of grounds scoping work carried out in the City at the end of last year
- Funded First Aid Kits and Team Rep Training delivered recently
- Officials Awareness Training to be part of next year’s plans
- Profile of League raised by playing finals at Peterborough Town CC’s ground with appointed umpires
- Enhanced publicity of League through Cricket East Newsletters
