Some of Bedfordshire and Huntingdonshire’s most promising young players have started their preparations with the Regional Emerging Player Programme (EPP).
This year’s intake includes Zaid Faleel, Danyaal Khalid, Dilan Sheemar and Vedant Somal from Bedfordshire and Olly Greenhow from Huntingdonshire.
The EPP supports players, girls and boys, who have the necessary aptitude, attitude, desire and athleticism to be potential future elite players. The programme, overseen by Essex County Cricket Club, sees players from Bedfordshire, Huntingdonshire and Cambridgeshire work together at weekly sessions at Essex County Ground and New Hall School in Chelmsford before Christmas and at The Perse School, Cambridge in the New Year, alongside the Essex Emerging Players and coaches.
Good luck to the boys!
