This Sunday (26th March 2023) is the Regional Indoor Finals at Uppingham School Sports Centre, Leicester Road Uppingham, Rutland, LE15 9SD.

The line-up is the following:

Sunday 26th March 2023:

3.15pm – 1st Semi Final – Biggleswade (Bedfordshire) v Ashton Under Hill (Worcester)

4.45pm – 2nd Semi Final – Cherry Willingham (Lincs) v Bretton (Hunts)

6.15pm – Regional Final

The first semi final see Cambs Whiting Division 2 team Biggleswade play Ashton Under Hill from Worcester with the second semi final the eagerly contested match between Hunts Division 2 team Bretton and Lincs Division 1 team Cherry Willingham.

Cherry Willingham were a Lincs Prem team for many years (equivalent of South Lincs Prem) and won the Lincs Prem in 2016 but were not given the green light to the Lincs ECB. Now playing in Division 1 of the Lincolnshire League they have won the highly competitive Lincoln Indoor League for the last 10 consecutive years, but that sequence of success is over after recently finishing runners up this season.

Bretton have also had their own success in the Hunts Indoor League winning the league 10 times in the last 25 years. They recently finished runners up in this year’s competition with AK11 winning the 2022/2023 competition and representing Huntingdonshire in the 2024 National Competition.
