Training for Club Welfare Officers
Including Safe Hands Workshops in 2019.

Cricket East expects every club to appoint a Club Welfare Officer (CWO) and ensure they are fully trained and accredited before the start of the season. The CWO must attend two training courses – Safeguarding & Protecting Children Certificate and Safe Hands Workshop – and complete a DBS or vetting check, all of which needs to be updated every three years.
Safe Hands Workshops for new officers and refreshers will run in advance of the 2019 season as follows:
Tuesday 26 February 2019 6-9pm at Bedford College, book HERE
Saturday 16 March 2019 11am-2pm at Ramsey CC, book HERE
Wednesday 27 March 2019 6-9pm at Bedford College, book HERE
