The Get Set Weekend has for many years been a pre-season focal point for clubs up and down the country and clubs in Bedfordshire and Huntingdonshire are no different.
The weekend is a fantastic opportunity to inspire new and existing volunteers to spend time at your club, helping it to ‘get set’ for the upcoming season.
To mark the start of the 2025 season, the #GetSetWeekend will on 5 & 6 April 2025.
This year, we are calling on clubs to use the Get Set Weekend not only to get their facilities and equipment ready, but also to inspire and celebrate their people, be if player of volunteers, new or returning. We will be providing a wide range of resources and toolkits to support this activity, as well as offering a number of incentives to registered clubs, including:
Jewson credit vouchers worth £100-£500
Tickets to international and domestic matches, in stadiums across England and Wales
Practical merchandise for running and managing events
Exclusive access to an online event series to support volunteers in making the most of the Weekend.
Registrations will open on 20th January.
