All Affiliated Clubs are required to have a nominated and accredited Club Safeguarding Officer. Please click on the link below to view ECB details for ECB Guidance on Appointing and Training a Club Safeguarding Officer
The nominated officer must complete:
- Safeguarding for Specialist Roles online module (Safeguarding for Committee Members and Club Safeguarding Officers)
- Safe Hands Workshop
- Valid ECB DBS.
Both training courses have a three-year validity period. A DBS now only has a one-year validity period. It is recommended to register with the update service to prevent having to complete a full application annually, instead you will be required to complete a short questionnaire.
Please contact Danielle Kinton at danielle.kinton@cricketeast.co.uk if you are need to complete an SSR module for the first time.
If you have completed an ECB SSR in the past via your ECB e-learning portal, you can complete the course again in your portal. Use this link to log in- https://elearning.ecb.co.uk/login/index.php
