At Cricket East, safeguarding is at the heart of our mission to provide a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all participants in our sport. We are committed to upholding the highest standards in child protection, welfare, and well-being, ensuring that every individual can engage with cricket confidently and safely. This page provides regular updates on safeguarding policies, best practices, and initiatives that reflect our dedication to a secure and welcoming cricketing experience. As part of our commitment, we send regular newsletters to Club Safeguarding Officers to keep them informed of any policy updates, best practice recommendations, and changes in safeguarding procedures. Here, you will also find essential information on our ongoing efforts, recent safeguarding enhancements, and ways to get involved in supporting our shared commitment to a safe and inclusive cricket community.
We are pleased to introduce our new Safeguarding Surgery initiative, designed to provide dedicated support to our clubs and safeguarding officers. Every Wednesday and Thursday between 12:30 pm and 4:00 pm, individuals can contact me via Teams or phone to discuss safeguarding matters, seek advice, or clarify any concerns. This initiative ensures timely, accessible assistance and reinforces our commitment to safeguarding excellence across our cricket community.
Please find the Safeguarding Surgery poster below and display it in your club house.
