The Fred Trueman National Schools League was established in 2005 by the late Fred Trueman and Geoff Hastings to help State Schools play competitive cricket. It is supported by the MCC Foundation, the Cricket Society Trust and the ECB. This has now been renamed The R66t National Schools League
Schools across Huntingdonshire, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, West Norfolk, Northants, Leicestershire and South Lincolnshire are invited to take part in competitive leagues at Under 13 and Under 15 level.
This competition runs across Beds, Hunts, South Lincs, North Cambs and Northants. It is an 11 a-side hardball competition for mixed teams (no ratio on the number of girls required).
We will be running county-wide competitions throughout the summer culminating in County Finals. The winners of the finals will be invited to represent their county at a regional level with teams from Beds, Hunts, South Lincs and Northants taking part.
